  This is the best and most consistent food in Saranac Lake. The pasta is delicious, and the fish is fantastic! My favorite is the fresh cut French fries.

  Old adirondack Italian, fresh everything. Knowledgeable, long standing staff. Made as I like it. Family owned since 1933.

  Big red neon sign, small parking lot. Takes only cash. Small dining room with hits of the 50's playing on a radio. Separate room for bar. Cloth napkins and tablecloth. Wine right off the grocery store shelf. Menu half American (steak, chicken, sausage), and half Italian (veal, pasta, chicken). A la carte or as dinner. Meatballs and spicy sausage OK. Red sauce above average. Salad better than expected. Bread commercial, but warmed. Dessert menu reads well (didn't try). Overall pretty average for a thin winter market.
